Holy pregnant sea monkey!

Ok yes I know they r just "shrimp" but holy crap one of our sea monkeys is knocked up and the egg sac is MASSIVE! Its been there for quite a long time though (a good couple weeks) and I cant seem to find anywhere online that says how long they stay pregnant for. I hope she doesnt die before she lays the eggs. The suckish thing is we had some babies about 2 weeks ago and they all died so Im thinking its just too cold for them downstairs now and they need to be moved upstairs. Sucks because there really isnt a place I can put them where Robyn wont touch them so I am going to have to find a shelf I can hang for them. Might look a little out of place but at least it will keep them safe from small curious hands! Anyway thats my exciting news of the day. I would say I'll post pics but yeah no lol.

New cage, bottles, tax school & dogs!

First of all the dogs r driving me INSANE! Ive been gone since Wednesday morning from 7am till 10pm for tax school and the dogs have a harder time with it than the kids do! Now thats sad LMAO!

School is going ok though. Pat and I have a few issues with others in the class not doing as much as they should be but Al the owner is on top of it. Im just so afraid Im going to end up a baby sitter like last year and I dont want to do that again. I want to do taxes and not just sit around fixing other peoples mistakes! After all the crap last year I really wasnt sure I wanted to do this again but now Im pretty excited about it and hopefully it will go well and turn into a yearly thing that I enjoy.

So last week I got a new cage for the boys. A girl didnt need it anymore so I went and got it and they love it! The pic of it is at the top of this post because I cant get it to move down here LOL! Anyway it sells for between $110 and $130 and I really wouldnt be able to afford one new for a long time so this was a great find. Its pretty easy to clean too. Tonite I managed to pop all the shelves out and scrub them down and get them back in and it really didnt take that long. I love it!

Wow been a lifetime!

Ok so Ive been doing shitty at keeping this thing going. With all the crap going on here Im surprised I dont have much time though so its not totally my fault. So where to start? Well lets see. Ive been sicker than hell. Wicked cold/cough that just wont quit for 2+weeks now and seems to be coming back again. Josh got it about a week ago and he really was coughing so he went to the Dr and is on antibiotics but hes some better. Angelina just got it 2 days ago and shes not too bad thank God and Robyn only has a slight cold again thank God! Wayne hasnt gotten it at all - lucky bastard! Speaking of Wayne. Hes going for this huge (and by huge I do mean HUGE) job and if he gets it we will be so set its not even funny. He passed all the testing with flying colors and is just waiting for the formal interview which hopefully will be soon so everyone cross ur fingers on that one! What else? The damn animals! Shimmer got sick last week. Out of the blue she was throwing up and unable to keep even water down so off to an emergency vet visit we went. $105 (not bad actually) later we come home with pills for puking, new thyroid pills, iv fluids & needles. She was better the next day so Im thinking it was something in the yard she ate. Cry Baby on the other hand is another issue. Basically hes not himself and Im saying its because his skin is so itchy (he has such sensitive skin). Im heading tomorrow to get him some meds for it and see how it works out. All of the other mutts, cats, bunny, hamster, rats, hermies, fish & sea monkeys r good. On a totally different note the classes Pat and I have to take for out Jackson Hewitt job r moving right along. I was very nervous meeting the owner for the first time. I cut my hair so my tattoo shows and I wasnt sure if he would say anything about that or my nose & eyebrow piercings. So I was almost going to say forget it because I didnt know what he would be like but I didnt. So far he hasnt said anything about them so thats a plus because I really dont want to take them out since they get infected so easily and covering the tat isnt going to happen period. I wasnt so sure he liked me the first few classes (we go twice a week) but as time goes by he seems to be ok with me and hes a really nice guy so I think working with him will be good. The classes r fairly easy but the last chapter really took a lot of work and thinking. It was good though. Pat and I worked together on it at home and we really did learn a lot that we didnt already know from doing taxes before. So yeah I think its going to be good and Im actually excited to get moving doing real returns. Well I guess thats it! I really cant think of anything else fun or exciting so Ill write more later! Holy sea-monkeys!

So we got Angelina sea-monkeys for her bday and holy crap they have hatched like crazy! I didnt put the whole pouch of eggs in because I wasnt sure I was supposed to and I figured save them so if they dont hatch I can add more since its been chilly here at nite. Well over the past three days Ive been adding eggs slowly and we have a TON of monkeys hatched! I cant believe how many. Kind of amazing really when u think about it that they can just package this shit up and bam they hatch. T's even mate! We also got her the butterfly tree house so we mailed away for the caterpillars and once they come we r going to do that. The only thing is with it getting cold (Im a yankee people it gets cold here early!) chances r we will have to keep them in the house for their entire lifespan which wont me good once they drop dead on us. The kids know they wont live all that long though so hopefully it will be ok. I think it will be neat for them to watch though so I cant wait. Anyway thats my monkey experience so far! Cant wait to see how big the little shits grow LMAO!

My baby is 8!

Well one of my babies anyway lmao! Yesterday was Angelinas bday. We spent it at the beach clamming and having fun. It was a good day. Then last nite Im sitting here getting ready to come in the house for the nite and in walks my Mom with a pillow and blanket. Im like wtf lmao! She had promised Angelina a sleep over but I totally didnt expect her to do it. Well she did and she even slept till 4:30am which is a miracle for my vampire of a Mother. Today Im making clam chowder and fritters with the clams we got yesterday. Everyones pissed Im not making clear broth and instead Im making red chowder. I like the red a lot and I found the recipe for Rocky Point Chowder House which is an amusement park that used to be open when I was a kid through my late teenage years. Well they had all u can eat chowder and fritters and we used to go there several times a year with my Grandmother and it was just amazing. First u eat and eat and eat till ur ready to pop and then u go puke it up on all the rides lmao. It was a blast! Well the place closed down many years ago and they had a small restaurant that still served their red chowder and fritters but they closed down last year so I decided screw it Im gonna make my own with the recipe I found. So far it tastes pretty damn good so I cant wait to eat! Anyway thats my day and Im off! Till next time!

Magic Eraser!

Ok I really just have to say I love the Magic Eraser!!! OMG! Seriously if u havent tried one go right now to Walmart and get a package. Ive never used them before but yesterday something in my head said "have Wayne get a Magic Eraser on his way home from work" so he did and WOW! Rarely if ever do things seen on TV actually work "as seen on TV" but I can honestly say these do. Heres my list of pros & cons and things it works on so far.

Pros:

1. U dont use soap.
2. Because u dont use soap u dont have to rinse what ur washing.
3. U just wet the thing then ring it out so u dont have nasty soapy water running down ur arms. Ur virtually using it dry.
4. No smell. If ur like me and dont like the way a lot of soaps smell this is a major plus.
5. The kids can use it because u dont have to apply tons of pressure.
6. Cheap. 2 for $2.22 at Walmart. Seriously thats a good deal hey.
7. U can use it on just about any surface. If u go online there r TONS of tips and do's but really there r hardly any dont's.
8. U use it then rinse it in the sink and use it again. Ur not sticking ur hand in a nasty bucket of gross water and washing things with dirty water. Ick!

Cons (I only have 2!):

1. It doesnt last forever. Really I did a lot of washing with the 2 we bought (Waynes buying 6 more today!) but yeah they dont last as long as I would like. Really though if ur using it just for the random crayon on the wall or nasty hand print on the door its going to last u quite awhile.
2. Once it starts to crumble THROW IT AWAY! I tried to keep using it with it in pieces. Not smart. it just left pieces on the wall. The good thing is once it dried the pieces easily wiped away.

Things I washed with it (now dont think my house is a piss hole from this list!):

1. Hand prints up and down the stair way walls/banister. Seriously with 3 kids going up and down the stairs my stair way walls were NASTY! Sure I spot clean it with bleach spray but honestly its a pain in the ass. The ME worked GREAT!
2. Angelinas drawings on the walls. What can I say? Shes an artist. The ME took away marker, crayon, paint (washable kids paint) and highlighter. Really it left little if any behind.
3. Mildew in the bathroom. We have one small hand print sized section in our bathroom that has been mildewed for years. Its never come off with anything yet until now. It wiped away with such ease I almost shit my pants. At least I was in the right room in case I had LMAO!
4. Food! Food! Food! This thing cleaned the micro like nothing before. It looks damn near brand new now. Stuck on shit that I havent been able to get out for years came out like nothing.
5. Ok picture this. U have a screen door and 6 dogs. The 6 dogs go outside, shit, piss, eat and then they scratch this screen door to be let back in. Imagine how nasty that door gets on the bottom. Do u really think I want to stand there with a bucket and scrub the thing putting my hand in gross dog water to ring out the rag? Um no. Needless to say it doesnt get washed often and was N-A-S-T-Y! Well the ME hit it and I swear I heard the door moan a sigh of relief. It looks amazing!
6. My grandmothers wooded butcher block. As every knows my Grandfather was a butcher. My Mom was a butcher. All my Uncles were and some still r butchers. So naturally we have several butcher blocks and naturally the edges r just icky. Well the ME takes it all away!
7. Fridge! OMG! U can see urself in the damn thing its so shiny!

And that completes the list of what Ive used it on so far. I was literally up scrubbing until 2am and I was enjoying myself! Ive never had so much fun cleaning in my life. Now I just have to wait for Wayne to get home from work with the next batch so I can scrub some more! Everyone run! Dont walk! RUN to Walmart and buy several boxes NOW! And for those of u who receive Xmas gifts from me plan on Magic Erasers every year from here on out LMAO!

Long weekend and even longer day ahead today

OMG what a weekend. Lets see. Heres all the things I/we (me and Mom or me and Wayne) did and how long it took:

• Cleaned porch room, Me/Mom 3 hours total - now for anyone who hasnt been to my house this is a HUGE ass room with a cement floor, raw wood beam walls/ceiling and huge huge windows. Its where the dogs eat when they eat outside and its a dirt and dust magnet full of spiders and God knows what else. We clean it like twice a year and thats it because honestly u clean it one day and the next its so dusty again u cant see out the windows. The room is spotless...for now.
• Trimmed allllll the briers, poison ivy, tall shit weeds around the yard, Me/Mom 2 1/2 hours total - Keep in mine here I have a very big yard that sits ont he water. The dampness from the pond makes things grow like...well...weeds. Now normally trimming weeds wouldnt take so long but our weed whacker is broken so we had to use these little trimmer things. My Mom wouldnt go neat the poison ivy so I got stuck with that and one chunk of crap I pulled up had a nest of red ants under it. Naturally I didnt realize it until my legs were being bitten and my hands were covered with the damn things. That wasnt fun hey.
• Convinced Josh and Angelina to go through all their toys and get rid of some, Me/Wayne damn near 4 hours - Ok so stay with me here. We decided to take and go through all the kids toys and take some to salvation army. We being me and Wayne. The kids agreed at first. All in all we basically have just as many toys as we started out with so I plan to go through them again next weekend and get rid of more but for now they didnt do too bad. They got rid of about 5 bags total.
• Painted the gate, Me/Mom 1 hour - Ok seriously this should take like 20 mins max but the gate is a couple years old and has NEVER been painted. Its rough cut wood and seriously it was a bitch to paint. One of us used a big brush and the other used a teenie tiny brush to get all the ridges and hard to reach areas which was insane. That gate will never be painted again as long as I live.
• Re-arranged Moms room, Me/Mom 1 1/2 hours - This is nothing new. Even when Mom lived with me she was moving shit around in her room constantly. Since shes moved next door nothing has changed.
• Re-arranged Josh and Angelinas Rooms and moved the big TV to our room, Me/Wayne 1 1/2 hours - Really this was nothing just time consuming. When we got our big flat screen TV we had to put the big TV we already had in Joshs room in a corner. Well his TV ended up in the camper on our last trip and is still there so we decided to give him our medium sized TV and to put the big TV in our room. That required moving a dresser that is really Robyns into Angelinas room (Robyn and Angelina will share a room eventually) and moving some of our dressers to make this huge ass TV fit. It wasnt easy but its done. We also had to move the dollhouse which for those who havent seen it is giant and not quite finished out of Angelina room and into the upstairs hall (very harge hall) so I can start working on it again in the fall.
• Cleaned sand area, Me/Kids 1/2 hour - Basically I took a huge old tupperware and drilled some holes in the bottom for water to drain and turned that into storage for all the kids sand toys. Threw away some old chewed toys.

Thats the basic list. We did other little things like painting the deck railings (Vin), painting the upstairs hall/trim (Wayne), washing windows (Me), making curtains for Moms room (Pat/Mom), Garden work (Everyone) and so on. Basically no one sat down on Sunday other than to eat, pee and damn near have a heat stroke and Saturday once we started we didnt stop till dark. Now today and tomorrow my goal is the inside of the house which Im off to get started on right now! *sigh*

Enough with the books already!

Ok seriously this is insane. We used to own a bookstore for several years. During that time we accumulated a LOT of books in this house...damn near 1,000 I would guess. They r a mix of kids books, parenting books, art/craft books, reference books and just plain old good reading books. So last nite I decide Im going to attach about half of our books which currently reside on one very large book case in what used to be our school room but had now become our rabbit/rattie/hamster/hermit crab room. So I go in and I take allll the books off the shelves and dust them off. That took well over an hour. Then I pile them on the love seat, couch and LR floor and attempt to organize them with a 2 yr old throwing them all over the place. Yeah that didnt work. So I decide I can organize them on the shelves and I start having Josh and Angelina carry them in to me in piles. About 2 hours later we were done and sure enough there is some organization. Not as much as I would have liked but at least they r all standing up the way they belong and not thrown all over the freakin house. I told the kids if they touch a single book without me helping them get it Ill be really really mad LOL! I will get them all the books they want but I would at least like them to stay organized for a little while! My next task in that room r the high shelves. They r full of games and old craft supplies I need to look through and see what Im going to use and not use. That cant be done today though. Tomorrow Wayne is taking the morning off to make a dump run so I HAVE to get things together for that. Theres tons of things around this house/yard/Moms house that need to go to the dump and since we only get there once or twice a year this is my only chance. Its now or never as they say! Anyway thats the story on the books. Who wants to make bets on how long they stay organized? LMAO!

Update turns into vent...woops!

Wow its been awhile since I really did a full out update! Ok lets see. Basically everything is fine here. Kids r good. Starting school tomorrow. They arent real thrilled with that but they will live! I want to get started early so we can do some review before moving ahead and maybe take a long vacation in the winter. We did that last year too and it helped especially Angelina but Josh liked it too. Ive had a brutal cold for a few days that just doesnt seem to want to go away. Sucks especially when its so hot! Waynes fine. He got that job working 6pm-3am so thats a major plus. His orientation is on Tuesday morn and as long as that goes ok and he passes his lift test which he should hes set to start Wednesday nite. The PO claims the chick thats leaving is leaving by Sept 1st and if she really does than that route becomes Waynes. He will probably stay with the nite job for a few weeks after that just to catch up bills and then he will most likely either leave there and do only the PO or stay there part time. The main goal is still full time at the PO though so cross everything people! Im not doing so hot saving for a laptop! Bills just keep adding on and gas money is sick here so yeah. I did find a REALLY nice new 17 inch Dell with number pad for $898 so thats my goal. It will be great for at home plus with the Jackson Hewitt job Im taking it will be much easier doing my classes online on a laptop. Hopefully in a few weeks I can get it. In the meantime though this old rellic desktop is working quite well! I can even get into Pogo most times to do my badges! The only problem is Angelina keeps stealing the comp to play Pogo too. Little brat is faster than I am at a lot of the games LOL! Josh isnt into online games. Hes a Wii boy. Loves the Wii. I keep telling them that once we start school the games r off during the day and they r only playing at nite/weekends and they both just roll their eyes lol. Should be fun! Lets see what else? Critters r all fine. Weve had a weird summer. No calls for the dog warden at all that we know of! He hasnt come by even once. Of course we already won the court case so maybe the moron neighbor has called and the warden just didnt come but I dont think so. Its been quiet. Weird. The dogs r actually being better this summer though with the boats. They r 2 and I think they r finally starting to realize they live on the freakin water and the boats r here to stay lol. Idiots! Ratties/bunny/hamster/cats r all doing good. I moved all the girls together into the huge ass Martins cage. They actually got along great right off the start. I was afraid for the two hairless ones Peach and Mama Peach but even they r good to go. That left the other large cage open for the boys so they got moved in there and OMG they r THRILLED! They love the wheel. They have probably 3x the room theyve had since they were born. Really this cage is awesome for them. Id love to get them a big Martins later on for the 7 of them but really there is no rush. This cage has more than enough room for them even when they r full grown so once money is flowing again the way it should be and bills r paid then they can get another cage. For now they r good to go though! So about that vacation in the winter. The ratties r the only real issue. My Mom wont feed them which is just stupid. Throw some food in and fill their water how hard is that? Not very. Which means I have to convince Lettie to come do it since she likes the rats and knows what to do. Wayne and I both have cabin fever though big time and T didnt help. She posted up a bunch of pics from when we were out there in Nov. I cant believe how small Robyn was in those pics! 9 months doesnt seem like such a long time but looking at those pics it really is. So yeah I want another Vegas trip soon! Robyn talks to T every single day on the phone but thats not the same as seeing her ya know? Hopefully we can save up some money and get out there in the winter and see T, Terry, Donna and Sheri. Same with Phillip and Renay. I hate going so long between visits to them! It wasnt so bad because we were there in Nov too which was just an awesome and relaxing time with them and they were planing to come up here or us go there in the summer but that didnt happen so of course I miss them. They r our first real mutual friends. Like friends we both love and enjoy being with. Usually there is one person in a couple that u just cant stand lolol but with them we both love them both so it sucks them being so far away. I hope someday they will move up here but in the meantime I just want to go visit more often and I have to call them more! I dont know why but I just really dont talk to anyone on the phone much anymore. I talk to T everyday many times a day lol and Lettie usually at least 5 times a week or more. Rho I talk to a lot online and probably a couple times a week when things arent crazy. Amy, Phillip & Renay though I never talk to! I have to stop that and start calling more! And I want to go see Rho! We havent known each other as long but I really would like to visit her soon. We have so much in common and hit it off right from day one. Shes awesome and Im really glad we met. And Diana! Ive known Diana for as long as Ive known T and Ive never seen her in person! It would be awesome to finally take that trip up to MI and go to where Wayne grew up if we could get there without his mother trying to gun me down (seriously that battle needs to just end but how? - its just insane and stupid and really quite sad that the kids have only met one member of their fathers family) and see Diana at the same time. It sucks having most of ur friends clear across the country damnit! ANYWAY somehow this turned into a vent lmao so Im done! I just really need a vacation damnit! Ok well Im off. The next few weeks I wont be around much. We have insurance people coming to inspect both houses on Aug 13th. We have TONS to do around here before then so my online time is going to be very little between that and starting school. I try to get on when I can though. Have a good weekend all!

Some freakin tired!

OMG am I tired. Mom had a new book she had to go put out at midnite in 3 stores last nite so I went with her to keep her awake. Didnt get home till 3:30am then got about 3 hours sleep. Im a walking zombie hey! I need a huge ass vat of coffee and a major nap. Yeah like thats gonna happen!

Another weeked came and went

Well its been an interesting weekend! My little (not "little little" but little enough lol) cousin Tay slept over Saturday AND Sunday nites. Saturday nite we swam and played the Wii and watched movies. Then Sunday she asked to stay again but we didnt get hardly any outside time in because we had some pretty good t-storms and heavy rain so it was another movie and Wii day. Shes a pretty good bowler! Almost got her pro ball in just 2 days! Today we got outside pretty early since the sun was finally out. Anyway it was fun and all the brats were pretty good and even the dogs were good. They spent Saturday nite with Pat/Mom and Sunday I let them come home one at a time to see if they would like Tay. They loved her! Shim licked her to death this morning lol and even fat boy Glutton was pushing all up on her for the lovin. I havent let her sleep over much the past year or so because I didnt know if they would like it but now I know that isnt a problem! And she loves the rats! The boys came out a bunch of times and she held and kissed em up and down. I tried to stash a few in her bag and send em home with her but she caught me lmao! Anyway that was our weekend!

Anyone up for a charlie horse?

So Wayne twisted his ankle a few days ago and instead of going to the Dr to have it looked at he decided to work 12 hours a day on it. Well Thursday when we went to go bowling he couldn't even walk. He bowled but he couldn't tie the shoe and barely hit a single pin. We came home and he iced it and yesterday when he got up to go to work he couldn't walk at all. So hes standing at the foot of the bed with me sitting behind him and he says "Shit! If I move even an inch I'm going to get a wicked Charlie horse in the top of my damn leg! I can feel it!" so me being the bitch that I am took my hand and pretended I was going to shove a finger up his ass LMAO! He jumped a MILE! Worked that Charlie horse out real fast! Lolol! Anyway we went to the hosp and the ankle has a fracture but it looks like his healed somewhat so they arent sure when he got it. They r having another Dr look at the xrays today and then they will call and tell him if he has to go back next week and they will decide if they need to rebrake it and set it or what. For now hes on crutches and has an air cast. Joy! He went to do mail today. Not sure how hes driving since its his left foot but he already took yesterday off so he didn't want to lose another days pay. Then hes stopping an picking up my little cousin Tay and she and him r going to go grocery shopping and then shes spending the nite. We r gonna watch movies and do makeovers and swim swim swim.Should be fun! She hasnt slept over in quite awhile and the kids LOVE it when she does so they r even helping me CLEAN! That's a shocker! Speaking of cleaning I gotta get to it. Have a good weekend all!

Comp issues at their best

Well its finally happened. Im without a laptop :( damn thing. Its been bad. CD drive wont read/record, it wont shut down/reboot, its sooooo slowwww - basically its just crap. So I said screw this and I took it back to where I got it. Im not going to keep paying payments on something I can barely use! Im going to put aside $10 a day until I have enough money to buy a new one. I can get the same exact comp only with more memory/faster for $800 with NO payments! Until then Im using the crappy old desktop. Its actually working fairly well with the exception of being a tad slow. I might upgrade the memory if Im brave enough to open this old thing up. We'll see. Anyway thats the news here! Ill still be online just Ill be doing it a little slower for awhile lol!

And the fun continues

Well Vins jeep is busted. I guess the break line went so now Pat has nothing to drive. Shes having Jim get her a car today. Im just waiting to hear the "She breaks my car then gets a new one!" bullshit from Vin. I know its coming. Anyone want to take bets? Anyway Wayne took her to work at 4:30am this morning because he had to go to work at 5am when shes not supposed to be to work till 9am. Hopefully tomorrow she will have a car and no one will have to take her anywhere. Im going out tonite and deliver Avon catalogs while its not raining for a change. Hopefully Ill get some decent orders. Yesterday the kids decided to lock the bathroom door with no one in there. That was a fun half an hour trying to bust my way through the knob. YEEHAA! Anyway thats all the news here so far today! Im off to do laundry and try being constructive!

Its always something

Pat just called. Shes broke down with Vins jeep. Mom went to get her. Then Vin called having a fit because she has her cell phone turned off and hes heading up there to get the keys from her and cant get a hold of her. Another fun filled day! More to come later...

Back with Avon!

Well I decided to give Avon another shot. Basically because I ran out of body soap and couldnt find anything else I really liked as much as the Avon Naturals. So I decided to sign Mom up too that way I can make more commission and maybe if I can sign a few people up under her I can do even better than before. We'll see! The key is not ordering things to sell at shows and stuff. Been there...done that...doesnt work here. Im sticking with catalog dropping and hopefully that will bring in some more regular customers. Really I would be happy if I had even enough regular customers to cover my cost of gas and catalogs. See in the city where there r more people per mile Avon isnt as hard to sell. Here in the woods where delivering catalogs takes 3 hours and 100 miles on gas thats $4.50 a gallon and u use more with the stop and go driving its not as easy to make back ur cost. We'll see how it goes though. Im going to do my couple regular customers who ordered fairly often and then the one road I always did and had a couple orders and then if I have books left Ill drop them to some new places. Hopefully it will work out! Oh an I got Mom a webpage. I figure that way its less I have to put through in her name to keep her active if I get a few orders off the webpage. Plus its still free if one person orders for 10 more weeks. After that if they make it where I have to pay again Ill kill it probably. So thats the news! Wish me luck everyone!

Chokin on a jello square...not fun

OMG that was not a fun experience hey. I finally managed to make jello squares right so they actually came out of the pan which made me quite happy. So I pop one in my mouth and next thing I know Im pukin in the sink. Damn thing slipped right down my windpipe. I really thought this is it. Im going to die over a fucking jello square! Josh is next to me screamin to Wayne. Angelinas a lunatic. Waynes asking me if Im gonna make it. Holy crap. So yeah not at all fun but worth it since the kids finally got a jello square they could hold and eat the right way which will probably be the last time since I aint making them again anytime soon!

Remember when cereal came with a toy? Coupons were printed on the inside of packages?

Where did those days go? Cereal used to come with a toy. And not just certain cereals either really when u think about it damn near all of them did! Even when Josh was little most cereals still came with a toy. Then by the time Angelina was born once in awhile u would find a toy but not very often. Now its RARE that u find one! Sure u can save up 500 proofs of purchase and send them to the company along with $29.99 shipping & handling to occasionally get ur "free toy" but even thats not very often these days. WTFS up with the cheap ass cereal companies? Yeah I get that everything costs more to make now a days but really come on. With all they spend on tv ads and coupon printing just to make it so us parents have to buy the name brand cereals our kids drool over *when was the last time u saw WalMart brand cereal advertised on tv hey* they could atleast throw in a damn toy! Another thing that annoys me is coupons on the inside of packages. Remember when soup cans had coupons printed on the inside of their labels? Boxes had coupons printed in side? My Grandmother used to have a COLLECTION of these coupons! She had a big envelope she kept them in and she would always have a couple to use when she went shopping. Most people dont even bother looking anymore because they never find any! Is it so hard to throw a 50 cent coupon into a box here and there? Really the majority of people wont even use em so it wont cost the company that much but shit give em to those of us who actually still look from time to time! Im 34 years old. I shouldnt be sitting here like an old lady saying "Remember back when I clipped coupons from soup cans?" WTF! My Mom saying that ok. Maybe. Not that she ever clipped coupons but still. But me? No! Give me my coupons and free toys damnit! Ok I need coffee.

Conquered the pool...well kinda

After several days of trying to figure out how the hell we were gonna get in the pool we finally worked it out! Vin (YES VIN! The uncle I want to kill 90% of the time!) had a brilliant idea because he was just as afraid of the ladder as the rest of us lol. We built these wooden stairs and put them next to the pool ladder. The trick is u climb the stairs and then swing over and step onto the pool ladder and BAM ur in the pool. Its actually not that hard to do! It kills my knee but once Im in its all good and getting out is actually easier than getting in. Niceeee! The kids and I spend about an hour in yesterday and probably half an hour the day before. Of course Mom has to be a baby and not even try to do it but thats her problem. If she gets hot enough she can go in the pond!

Update on the babies & the Mamas

Nigel has officially made it to 5 weeks old! YEAH NIGEL! Im so so glad he beat the odds and fought his way through whatever it was that ended his baby sisters lives. Hes made me so proud! All of the other little ones turn 5 weeks on Monday and they r doing great too the crazy little crackheads LMAO! I cant believe how big they r getting and how active they r. They went from sleeping the day away before opening their eyes to climbing the cage bars and eating real food like little piggies basically over nite. Its just nuts! And they all totally have their own personalities. The girst r by far more temper mental and the boys r just goofy but all in all every single one of them is VERY loving and friendly and just cant get enough of being the center of attention lol. Oh and one is a dumbo! I dont know where he came from lol but one of the little guys is a dumbo. I didnt even realize it till the other day when I saw him in the hammock laying with his sister and I was like hang on a sec here something aint right lmao! As for their names heres what weve come up with:

Felix = PEW with green spot on his tail (we have to mark the PEWS to tell them apart!)

Really they r all just so damn cute its not even funny! Ill try to get pics of them all tonite sometime! The plan is to separate them on Monday when the others all turn 5 weeks. Its kind of sad having to separate them and take the boys away from Mama and their sisters but it HAS to be done. As for Salem and Angel they r both doing really well. Angel is still not letting me hold her but hopefully once shes in the Martins cage and can come to me for petting she will come around just like Fluff and the Vodka Sisters did. Salem seems to be feeling much better and hasnt had any more breathing problems since that one very scary nite thank God! So thats the news here on the baby front. Bolwing!

Last week the new leagues at blowing started so we joined a family bowling league. I couldnt go because I was at the hosp with Robyn so it was just Wayne, Josh and Angelina for week 1. Since Robyns feeling MUCH better I decided to go this week and leave her home with Mom/Pat. OMG it was so much fun! Wayne was a little stressed with the fact that Angelina cant throw the ball that hard so it got kicked back a couple times but then they reset the lane and it stopped doing it so all was fine. Well that and I told Angelina to think about throwing a watermelon at Vins head and throw it real hard LMAO so she was doing MUCH better after that! Josh wasnt totally focused so his game was off but he did pretty good. Wayne the ass got a bunch of strikes and I actually got some myself which shocked the shit outta him and me both! My only problem was the only balls I had to pick from were either 8lb or 14lb and I needed like a 12lb. The holes in the 8lb were too small and the 14lb was pretty damn heavy and I kept droppin it. So I rotated and used both. Still though I did damn good for only having bowled once before in my life like 6 years ago. So yeah it was interesting and believe it or not I cant wait to go back!

Holy ladder bat man!

Ok so the pool was FINALLY full yesterday so we could get in it and mix all the tree gunk around to get it clean. YEAH! So here I go with my fat ass up the ladder...or not. I got up 1 step. Ok that was easy. Now lets keep in mind I only have 1 "decent" knee and one completely blown knee. 2nd step? Um no. Couldnt do it. Down I come. Gotta try again. Up 1 step. Good. Up 2 steps with Wayne behind me pushing my ass...the most action hes seen lately BTW. Great! Lets go for 3. Up 3! YEAH! Time for the 4th and final step...here we go...I can do this...shit I cant do this! I literally think I threw up a little in my mouth. Back down I come. So now Wayne gets in and starts cleaning the pool. Now Im really pissed that hes in there and Im standing outside watching. Really want to get in now just so I can drown his ass. So I have him hold the ladder from the inside of the pool. Maybe that will help. Here we go again. Up 1. Up 2. Up 3. YES! Shall we go for 4? Nope. Not gonna happen. DAMNIT! In the house I go to get the computer to look up ladders. Holy crap do they cost a fortune. I aint got that kind of money! Lets try CraigsList. YEAH! I found 1! Its 2 hours away and looks like 1 I could use. But its $150. Hmmm. Add that to all the gas its gonna take gettin there and thats damn near $200. Again I dont really have that kind of money. So I email the man selling it. Nice man btw. Its still for sale! YEAH! But will he budge on price? He says yes! Of course I have no idea by how much. So now I gotta think about it and decide if I can swing it on a mortgage week with Wayne STILL waiting for his $600 travel money from the post office. Shit. Hopefully I can figure something out and hopefully it will still be for sale when I do because I REALLY want to go in that damn pool!

Productive days r rare but when they happen its good!

We dont have many truly productive days in this crazy ass house. Really its very rare when we do and today was one of those rare days. Waynes been wanting to move the desktop comp back out into the LR but the rat cage was on the desk so we couldnt. Ive been wanting to move the rats into the room with Pete but Wayne hasnt really wanted to deal with it. So today we decided to go for it and we did. The girls 2 big cages r now sitting nicely in the room with Pete and even Ash the hamster made the move in there. The hermies r in there and in perfect position for Angelina to take care of them (they r her responsibility) and everyone seems quite content. The only ones still in the LR r Angel and the babies but next week she and the 2 girl babies need to be separated from the boy babies so they will all be making the move very soon too. The comp is set up and working on the desk (though its soooo slowwww) and the printer/fax/copier is set up next to the desk. The walls all got scrubbed and cleaned (Wayne loved that LMAO) so its all nice! I think it will be good. The ratties arent stuck next to this loud ass TV anymore and Wayne has the comp to use. All is right with the world...well atleast for now LOL!

Mice like Ghost Hunters!

This is really weird. Last week we were watching Ghost Hunters (Im sorry but that show should be on more than once a week hey!) and all of a sudden I look over and there is a freakin mouse climbing up my fireplace stones! I scream. He runs. Wayne sets a live trap. 2 days later Im home alone and he gets trapped. I was afraid he was going to chew a foot off or die of dehydration in the trap and since I actually do care which is why I set a live trap and not a snap ur head type trap I mustered up the bravery to touch the trap and I took him out and let him go in the woods. Ok great! Hes gone! Whoohoo! Um no. 2 nites ago the little shit is back and again while we r watching Ghost Hunters! Now Ill give him that hes cute as hell and he has great taste in TV but he simply cannot stay in my house! So yet another live trap set and we havent seen him again since that nite. No sign of him dead anywhere either so clearly the cats arent interested. This time when we catch him hes outta here. Im taking him to the next town and letting him go. I get that mice dont usually join another colony so this might mean he lives alone for the rest of his life but its better than my cats eating him alive right? Right. Hes just gonna have to find himself a nice little wife and make his own colony and please please dont bring them back to my fireplace!

Ok so heres the deal. As much as I like wordpress.com its a very boring site. They only have a handful of layouts and backgrounds to pick from and if u want to use anything custom or handmade u have to pay and I dont really have the time to sit and make layouts. So I was looking at Rhos blog *Hi Rho!* and I saw that u can seach free layouts like u can with MySpace and use them! WOOHOO! Everyone knows Im a layout whore so this works for me! LOL! Anyway Ive copied all of my wordpress posts over to here but not the pics because Im planning to make a page just for pics soon. So everyone please update ur bookmarks and take wordpress out and add in this blog!

Wow this is AWESOME!

I have to say this is so much nicer than wordpress.com! Now that I didnt like wordpress. Really it was very user friendly and the setup was nice but there r a few issues there that I just couldnt get past. One is the fact that they only have a handful of layouts u can use for free. If u want to make ur own or even upload new ones u have to pay. What a buncha bull! Here u can search layouts and change them anytime u want just like u can with MySpace which I LOVE! Other good features here r u can add a lot more content. Sure u can add links and such at wordpress but again unless u pay its very basic and Im just not gonna pay! I have 3 kids. I cant afford to pay for things like that! So what if I sound cheap. Its called being frugal damnit! LMAO! Anyway I really like it here and those of u who dont blog better get to it! It really is a great stress reliever and we all know what happens if u keep emotions and feelings bottled up. U go insane!!! LOL!

Been a loooong time!

Wow so much has been going on! I dont even know where to start. Ok lets start with the kids. Robyn has been very sick for 8 days now. 102+ fevers, barely able to stay awake long enough to eat, rash on her face. It hasnt been fun. Took her to the hosp on Monday and they ran some blood tests and did a chest xray which were all good. So they sent us home thinking it was only a virus. Now keep in mind I told them she had a tick on her a few weeks ago but for whatever reason they decided not to test her for lyme. So ok since Monday the rash shows up and fever just wont quit so last nite I said enough is enough we need answers and we need them NOW so back to the hosp we went. Pat came with us because Josh and Angelinas bowling league (we’ll talk more about that in a bit) started last nite. So we get there and they check her in and the Dr was such a dick. He acted like he couldnt see a rash and like I was just a worried Mom but to humor me he finally ordered a lyme test and some other tests. In comes the nurse to do a catheter (yeah that is NOT fun on a 2 yr old) and shes like “Wow she has a rash!” um no! Ya think? So she calls the Dr out on it and he finally “sees” it. So urine test and 9 vials of blood and we wait. Urine comes back fine. Blood looks ok but the lyme takes 24 hours for the first one and then 2 WEEKS for the second. They give her a huge ass shot of antibiotics in her leg to fight off whatever it is and on our way we go with no more answers than we had when we got there. Finally this afternoon I call to get the lyme result and its POSITIVE! I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH MY KID! I mean seriously. I know my kids. So yes lyme is bad but atleast we know what she has and we can treat it. Shes on 28 days of antibiotics now and motrin for fever and muscle pain and hopefully in less than a week she will be starting to feel better. Poor baby. Now all 3 kids have had lyme. Damn ticks! Ok so now bowling! The plan was we were going to go me and Angelina as team 1 and Wayne and Josh as team 2 but since I was at the hosp they just teamed up the 3 of them. They had a blast and cant wait to go back next week! Hopefully Robyn will feel better so I can go too. They didnt really get any talking time with other kids because Wayne said it was so out of control but I still think it will be good for them and I told them if they really like it and stick with it I will buy them their own balls, bags and shoes when its over in 10 weeks! Ebay here we come LMAO! Lets see what else havent I updated on. Oh Salem and the babies. Ok this is going to be a long one. Salem was doing great with Nigel, Arthur and Felix and then all of a sudden about a week ago 2am Wayne and I wake up to Salem gasping for air. She was in respiratory distress and was basically dieing. Called T and Donna and made a quick video of Salem so they could see what was going on and theyhad me give her a couple shots of albuteral with the inhaler. It took about 2 hours but finally she was breathing better and fell asleep with her boys but we knew she was so sick she had to be separated from them so she could get antibiotics and get better. So now we had Salem away from the boys and Im sitting here trying to get them to bottle feed which just wasnt working so what do we do? Finally Wayne said ok lets try to find a Mama so we called the guy who we got Felix and Arthur from and he agreed to give us their Mama BUT we had to take her other 6 babies with her which we did. Anyway now a week later the babies r all doing GREAT and Salem is feeling much better. The new Mamas name is Angel and shes very scared but shes a really great Mama. Including Felix, Arthur and Nigel we have 7 boys and 2 girls! The plan is to keep the 3 boys and the 2 girls and find a home for the other 4 boys. *keep in mind I said “plan” which means it could change at any time lmao!* Anyway thats all the news here and Im going to eat dinner and watch Ghost Hunters I didnt get to see Wednesday! Very very pissed off - beware

I want to fucking kill Vin right now. I think if he wasnt on the other side of the gate I probably would have. He thinks he runs the world and is so fucking smart when in reality he can barely spell a 3 letter word and cant add more than 10+10. Heres Wayne in 90 degree heat shoveling sand to level out where the pool is going to go. Naturally Vin being the asshole that he is he has to sit and get involved where he doesnt belong. Did he pay for it? Nope. Does he own the fucking houses? Nope. He owns NOTHING! Calling everyone “stupid” and “why r u all so fucking dumb” and “I have to teach u everything” blah blah blah screaming like a fucking lunatic. Finally I had enough and I totally went off on the fucker. Ive had it. Im taking the pool back and not even setting it up. Ill take the kids to the fucking ocean 7 days a week just so I dont have to be near that piece of shit asshole. Honestly I think if he comes near me right now Ill be in jail. Now I know why my Grandmother stayed as far away from him as she could. Kinda hard for me when he lives nextdoor.

A/C, sand, pools, Georgia, birthdays - blah blah blah

Wow I dont know about everyone else but the heat these past few days has been killing me! My body isnt built for this shit! Im a Connecticut Yankee born and raised. I dont do 95+ temps hey! So the day before yesterday Wayne went hunting for an a/c. 12 years weve lived in this house without an a/c and I aint doing it anymore! So he went to Walmart but all they had were 5050btu ones hardly big enough to cool my bathroom never mind the entire downstairs! He brought it home anyway and we put it in the living room but while it did cool it down a little it just didnt do the trick. Yesterday I started calling around and found a 12000btu one so I went and got that and OMG what a difference! I actually had to turn it OFF last nite at one point! So the little 5050btu one is going to go upstairs in the hall so maybe it will help keep it cooler up there and keep this cool air from being wasted by going up there. We r all just sleeping downstairs for now its so hot up there. I just cant imagine the kids sleeping up there. Atleast its cooler in here and I dont have to worry about the kids and dogs and other critters having heat strokes! Thats what I was really afraid of. I was sick feeling myself and barely ate for two days and the kids get even sicker than I do when its hot. When Josh was a baby we used to have to go to our bookstore with him to cool off because he would throw up. So yeah this is much nicer now thats for sure! Last week we went and got one of those 4 foot x 15 foot metal pools from Walmart. We used to have one a little bigger when I was a kid but living on the pond really we didnt need it when I grew up. Now though with the kids and with the pond as nasty as its been lately we really needed something bigger than the 2 foot blow up one weve had for the past few summers lol. So we got the thing home and then we had to order sand to put under it because the ground isnt level at all and the yard has so many rocks. Well the sand finally came yesterday morning but it was so damn hot no one wanted to work on the pool. Hopefully tonite Wayne can atleast get the sand moved to where it has to go so we can have it up and filled by the weekend when mom comes home from Georgia. She left this morning for a work trip and comes back late Friday nite so the kids wont see her till Saturday. Well Im officially another year older BUT Im still not as old as Wayne LOL! Speaking of Wayne I almost killed him yesterday! He went and got strawberries so I could make shortcake for my bday. Well when I started cutting them they were so rotten there were fruit flies coming out of them! OMG I was so pissed. $15 worth of berries in the trash can. Atleast I got my tattoo though so that makes up for it lol and Pat stopped and got an emergency cake at BigY which was actually a decent cake for a change! Mom got me this really nice grave rubbing (rubbing not robbing people! RUBBING!) kit which is cool and Im definitely taking it with me to Salem next time I go and T ordered me the Ghost Hunters book Ive been searching for and it actually came BEFORE my bday! 5 years weve known each other and this is the first time either of us has gotten a gift on time LMAO! Of course she forgot to tell me happy bday yesterday till like 3pm so I have to kick her ass for that but the book helped ease the pain LOL! Well thats about it! Im off to bask in my a/c and I think the kids and I r gonna make some frozen dog treats today! Until next time!

Ahh how I love online groups!

So yeah ok it was an interesting day. As most people know T and I have a Yahoo group for people who own small/exotic animals. There r only a handful of members and we r all pretty close and the group has been around for over a year. We all pretty much talk on the phone and all that and most of us have known each other for years. Well we had these two girls in there. One has been in for awhile and the other is pretty new. Today shit hit the fan. All of the members have expressed concerns about these two girls and their animal ethics over the past few days and even weeks. Long story short there were a lot of questions/issues and there just was no way to deal with these issues in a way that would make everyone happy other than removing these two people from the group. Do I enjoy kicking people out? No believe it or not I dont. But T and I discussed it and neither of us want to relive the dramas of the past so we felt it had to be done and so we did it. She was at work so I did it and I ended up taking the blame not by any fault of T’s but because these two girls apparently feel they need to lash out at someone and Im that someone. Ive offered to help them with their animal care in the future if they need it. I dont hate either of them. Really I dont. But I had to act as an owner and do what the group needed me to do. They apparently dont understand that and I really do feel for them. Honestly I do. They need to realize though that I have to do what I have to do. That said Im not answering anymore of their emails. I just cant keep going around and around with them like this. If they want help in the future I will be glad to help them but I just cant keep banging my head against the brick wall they r putting up. And for the record if either of u r reading this Im not doing this as an attack. Im doing it for my own venting/sanity and I hope u believe that. I truly do wish u both the best of luck.

Vent - beware!

So ok Im going to try going about this in the nicest way possible and without mentioning any names. Its not going to be easy but here we go kiddies and enjoy the ride! WTF is up with people who feel that just because someone they know has something they have to have the same thing? I mean really. Ive known people who really didnt want a new car until their friend got one and then they had to rush out and get one bigger and better than the one their friend just got. They dont think about the fact that they really cant afford the new car or need the new car. All they think about is how they can 1-up their friend. Or a new bird. Friend gets a new bird and BAM u have to go get a new bird. U have no room for a new bird and u really dont have the money for vet care for a new bird and have no idea how to care properly for this bird but because someone u know got one then u have to get one too. I just dont get it! I mean Im all for trying new things and sure sometimes u have to get the idea/inspiration somewhere but people please think long and hard before just jumping into shit! It isnt fair to the finance company who gave u that new car only to find out u cant afford it or to that bird u promised to give a good home to for u to decide ur “allergic” or “its mean” or u “dont have time for it” or “vet care costs a fortune” blah blah blah. There r enough cars in repo and enough birds in shelters already. Enough said!

Arthur has EYES!

OMG! I went and checked on the boys and all of a sudden Arthur comes racing out of the house and is LOOKING at me! I almost crapped my pants LMAO! He has the littlest black eyes I have ever seen but really for day 1 they r open quite wide! I kissed his little belly and he actually looked at me. How freakin cute is that hey?! Felix looks like his might open tomorrow. I see maybe teenie slits starting. Nigel I dont see anything yet and hes 2 days older! I expected his to be open first but nope. Hopefully soon! Ill take some pics later when I clean Salems cage!

My Bday gift from Wayne!

Ok this post needs a disclaimer just like the rat ones do! Wow I seem to be doing this a lot LOL so here goes!
*Anyone who doesnt like piercings or tattoos thats fine. Really I know they r not for everyone and I know getting my nose and eyebrow pierced were a shocker for a lot of people. Its my body though and if I want to get a couple holes in it here and there and some color added well damnit Im gonna do it! Im not asking u to do it to urs so dont ask me NOT to do it to mine!*
Ok now that we have that out of the way LOL Wayne has known Ive wanted to have a tattoo for a long time. I wanted a hummingbird because it was my grandmothers favorite bird and mine as well and the kids initials (RO = Robyn (yes she gets two letters just to make it look better LOL) J = Joshua A= Angelina) which is also the name of my business. Ive debated for years and just never want to spend the money. Well Wayne decided he wanted to go find out how much his tattoo (also ROJA with a guitar) would cost so we went to the tattoo place Flats in Groton, CT where I had my piercings done to get a quote. Well about 20 mins later I was sitting in the chair having my tattoo done for my bday LOL! No one in the family other than Lettie knows yet so Im just waiting for the screaming LMAO! Anyway heres a pic! Its on the back of my neck and even though the pic looks crooked its actually straight. Its just the way I was standing!

Update on Salem and the babies

*Let me remind those of u who r haters once again to please keep ur opinions to urselves*
Well a lot has changed in the few days since I last updated on Salem and her babies. The day before yesterday we ended up losing Isabel. She was such a fighter and tried so hard to make it but unfortunately she just couldnt fight any longer and had to cross the bridge with her sisters. Salem was very upset and wouldnt put little Nigel down. She was just walking around in circles carrying him and was so depressed and sad looking. So Wayne and I decided since hes her last baby left he needed a brother or two! We called a place in Warwick that breeds ratties and they had 8 day old babies and agreed to let us take 2 boys for Salem to have as new new sons and for Nigel to have as brothers! They r only two days younger than he is which is perfect and so far they r getting along wonderfully! Salem took to them instantly and is doing such a great job with them and with Nigel. Shes not nearly as depressed as she was and shes totally taken them in as if they r her own babies but really how could she resist? They r so damn cute! Arthur is a black and white hooded and Felix is either a PEW or a Himi. We arent sure yet. His Mama was a Himi but he looks more PEW so we will just have to wait a few weeks till his color comes in! Ill post pics of them soon so everyone can see!

New washer & dryer!

OMG FINALLY!!! We went and picked out a new washer and dryer last nite and they will be here on Saturday. Its gonna be so nice to do laundry without having to worry about them breaking. We got a good deal too. They knocked off about $150 for the fact that I still have a dryer that does work (sometimes LMAO!) so they r going to take that one with them and fix it and sell it. Hey fine with me! They can have it! Maybe someone else can get some life outta the thing! Its just amazing how fast we go through household appliances. I mean seriously we r lucky to get a year maybe a year and a half tops out of washing machines. I think I just over load them but with 3 kids and a husband who gets filthy I just cant sit 24/7 washing clothes! The good thing is these r “10 cycle” machines. As if I know what that really means. All I know is my old washer was “8 cycle” and it worked pretty damn good (well before it broke it did) so if this one has 2 more “cycles” then that must be better right? Right. Wayne and I did go back and forth about a front or top loader though. Hes always liked front and I like top. Finally the guy said that if he was going to be honest the front loaders do break more often and with the way we go through them a top would be better and last longer so we went with a top of the line top loader. I just cant wait! Ive never been so damn excited about washing laundry in my life. Wow. If this is all it takes to excite me I clearly dont have enough fun LMAO!

OMG she did it all by herself!!!

Holy freakin crap! I was sitting in the living room talking to Wayne about the post office when all of a sudden in runs Robyn yelling “Pee! Pee! Pee!” so here Im thinking oh no she peed on the floor! I get up and shes got me by the hand and she takes me to her potty which is full of PEE! HOLY COW! She did it all by herself and its her first time! I about fell over! My baby is turning into such a big girl! *wipes tear*

Forgot to mention my love for DVR!

I have to say without DVR or atleast a VCR I would go NUTS! With a 2 year old most nites u dont get to watch what u plan to watch on TV therefor u r required to record things. In a house with 2 adults and 3 kids all who like different things lets just say the DVR gets used A LOT! Well now that Wayne is actually in the post office (WOOHOO) he left that shit ass nite job of his and we actually get to watch some tv! Last nite we had a Ghost Hunters marathon. It was awesome. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I swear that show just gets better and better every season. Its amazing! I would so love to have them come to my house. With all the weird things that happen here it would be great but really Im a little afraid to know whats going on here. Angelina saw “black shape of a man” at the top of the stairs a few weeks ago. She still talks about it. Robyn went into the kitchen to get a drink one nite and came back screaming that there was a “face” in there and refused to go back in for days. Wayne and I both hear whispers in our ears on a regular basis while we r sleeping. Hell though I hear whispers when I visit other places too so thats not saying much LMAO! But really as cool as it would be to have them come just knowing the Indian past of this land and the fact that my Grandmother passed away here I just think it would scare me so much! And it isnt like these r new things. Weve lived here for 11 years and since day one weve had things like this happen so its not new. Weve just learned to live with it! So what else did we watch last nite? Oh yeah we watched some So You Think You Can Dance? No really we did. Im not asking a question there. The show name ends with a ? LMAO! Just makin that clear! ANYWAY thats another show I just love. Some of the dancers r simply amazing! But really it wouldnt be possibly without DVR BABY! I think we should all go kiss our cable men right now LMAO!

Wow its been DAYS!

Holy cow I cant believe how many days its been since Ive posted! Woops! And I see MySpace isnt picking up my blog so Ill have to work on that. ANYWAY heres all the news here but I do have a disclaimer:

Mom/Pat/anyone wishing to be negative: I get that u hate rats. And most cats. But guess what. This aint ur blog and just because u dont like something (and btw there r A LOT of things u people dont like) DOESNT mean the kids and I cant like it. Ok? So remember if u dont have anything nice to say then shut the hell up and dont say anything at all damnit! I dont really need to hear Angelina cry because u people say things about her pets that she loves. Have some sympathy.

Ok so now that we have that out of the way here we go. So most of u know Angelina picked out 2 rats a couple weeks ago at a pet store that was going out of business. They were selling off all the ratties as feeders for $1 and we just couldnt let that happen so we took 2 Siamese girls home with us. One is just a little thing and her name is Crystal. Shes so pretty and such a sweet little thing. Angelina would sit and hold her all day if we didnt have any cats! The other is also Siamese and shes a little older and her name is Salem. Well Salem had a cold when we got her so she was on antibiotics for that (NO Mom and Pat people cant catch shit from rats no matter what ur moron teachers taught u in school!) but at the same time as she was on the meds for the cold we didnt know she was already pregnant when we got her (here comes the Mom and Pat fit!). Anyway when we figured out she was pregnant we switched her to baby safe meds and we started posting online and found a bunch of homes for the babies. People were emailing like crazy wanting them. We agreed we would keep just 1 girl and that was it and that the rest would go to good homes. Well 9 days ago Salem had 5 beautiful little babies. 4 girls and 1 boy. Now for rats thats a VERY small litter. Usually they have around 12 babies so 5 was a shock. I was happy with 5 though to be honest. I knew 5 would be easy to find homes for 4 of them so no problems there and I knew Salem should do great with such a small litter when it comes to nursing them because there would be no fighting for food! So really I was happy with the 5. The babies looked GREAT! Nice and pink and wiggly and so damn cute it wasnt even funny. Everything was good for the first 3 days until I took the little ones out to clean the cage. I noticed 1 was turning yellow like it was jaundiced. Went online and emailed Donna, T, Terry and Cathe for help and started to research. Well it seems the babies were effected while they were still in Salems belly by the meds and had some liver issues. Poor things. Unfortunately the 1 little yellow one died the next day and when I took her out I realized 2 more babies were turning yellow. CRAP! So this went on and we researched non-stop and figured out that really it was just a waiting game and there was nothing we could do. So now lets fast forward 2 days to day 6. One of the little yellow looking babies wasnt looking so good. She was really weak and just terrible looking. The other 1 was looking almost just as bad and then another 1 was starting to turn yellow but not quite as fast and not as bad. The 1 the male looked great. Nice and pink and growing fine. That nite I went to check on them again and the 1 really bad looking baby was dead. Next morning the other really bad looking 1 was gone as well leaving us with only 2 babies on day 7 - 1 healthy looking male and 1 yellowish looking female. Ive been fully expecting the female to die but so far at day 9 shes still going so hopefully she will pull through this and the male still looks great and is such a fat little guy! Weve named the Isabel and Nigel and we r just watching them like hawks and hoping they both make it through this mess. The kids have been very upset having to see 3 of their little babies die hence my disclaimer to anyone wishing to be negative at the start of this post. I dont think we r out of the woods just yet but Im really hopeful that these 2 will be just fine. They r both active and getting in tons if hair. Donna says Isabels size is good but Nigel is a tad obese LMAO hey hes a typical man going for the boobie as often as possible LOL! Salem is doing a wonderful job as a Mama even though shes been through so much with losing 3 of her little ones. Rats can definitely get sad and depressed by the death of a baby. Ive seen that first hand and its really very sad to watch but she seems to be doing much better now and is even trusting me to handle the little ones more and more each day! Here r a few pics. Well he passed!

I cant believe it. He actually PASSED his driving test! WOOHOO! So he starts training on Tuesday (post office is closed Monday) YEAH! See what a couple of “pass of I kill u” threats will do? LMAO!

Waiting on driving test results, Idol & Dancing with the stars

Well he thinks it went well and that he passed. I guess we’ll see! He should know sometime either today or tomorrow for sure. Of course in the 10 mins we were gone to the library yesterday the idiot ran 3 yellow lights which is what he failed the test for last time! I wanted to kill him! All I know is he best have passed this time!
So Idol. I think David A is going to take it but I wont buy an album of his! I just dont see the performer in him at all like I do in David C plus his voice really kind of annoys me. Like fingernails on a chalk board type thing. Of course I had to keep messin with Pat last nite. She was trying to vote for David A and I was voting for David C so I kept calling her from my cell while Josh voted from the house phone. When she would try to dial I would be on her line and wouldnt hang up LMAO! She was PISSED! See things like that only work when ur neighbors and live in the woods. In the city with real phone service it never wouldve held the line like that. Ahh the plus sides to being a hick LMAO!
I was really sad to see Cristian go so early. I knew Kristi would win and rightfully so but I think Cristian should have been second and not Jason. Dont get me wrong they r both hotter than hell LOL but Cristian seems like an all around nice guy. Ill miss seeing his chest er I mean moves on the dance floor!
So whats next? So You Think You Can Dance starts tomorrow nite. That will take up a little time. The new Ghost Hunters starts next week. Im about a month behind in Days. I guess Ill have plenty to watch on those sleepless nites!

Well it finally happened

The washer finally shit the bed! I knew I should have bought one two weeks ago! No Im stuck waiting till next week to get a new one! Thank God I can go to Moms and do laundry there until then!

Tomorrow is Waynes driving test for the post office. If he fails this one thats the end. Hes SOL totally. So cross everything that he freakin passes! If he does pass he starts training on the 27th and if he doesnt I file for divorce! Plain and simple!
So I checked the rebate status on www.irs.govlast nite. Those Fuckers screwed us out of $500! Instead of the $2100 we should be getting we r getting $1600. What a bunch of shit. So there goes any chance of a trip to Alabama or Michigan. WTF! Im really pissed. We r still gonna go somewhere though. Either to Pennsylvania for a week or to New Hampshire for a few days and then to Amy in Maine for a few days. Its just bullshit that the people who need the money the most they take it away from. I know several other people who got the shaft also. Unreal!
And speaking of money I would suggest no one EVER work for H&R Block in Plainfield CT! And nope I dont give two shits if they see/read this or not to be quite honest. They already know how I feel about them so it shouldnt come as any surprise. Ive already written letters to H&R Blocks Corporate office telling them how they promise people all these huge bonuses and then screw them over. Basically of the 20 of us that worked there only maybe 5 r actually getting a bonus. How fair is that? I literally RAN the Foxwoods office for two months and am getting nothing yet the bitch who made all the mistakes that I had to fix is getting a nice fat check. Why? Because shes part of their cult er I mean religion. The piece of shit owner didnt even call or come in on my days because she knew things were under control and she didnt have to. Do I get anything for it though? Nope. I hope next year they have NO customers! That would teach them to be cheap bastards!
Speaking of being cheap we have a chance to buy a van pretty cheap. Its older (1999 Dodge Grand Caravan) but its in really good shape and would tow the camper a whole lot easier than the Malibu will. Waynes seen it and he says its nice so Im going to go look at it this week. The guy is a friend of Waynes so he says we can pay half and then pay the other half over a few weeks. That would be good since we still have the Tracker to fix! We’ll see how it looks when I get to look at it.

Ive created a monster!

First it was haircuts. Then hair dye. Now its flat ironing hair straight! Ive turned Auntie Pat into a monster! Pat had no idea how people get the nice straight hair she always sees on TV. So yesterday I took my flat iron in her house and I straightened her hair. It looks really good but now she wants me to do it everyday LOL! Thank God its short now and not down to her ass like it used to be or Id be doing it for hours! Whats next? Push up bras and thongs? LMAO!

Guess what its doing outside right now?!?!

Yep. Its raining! WTH is up with this weather? I swear weve had so much rain the past couple months the ground is just totally saturated. Every time it starts to dry the rain comes back. Its getting old fast. I need to open up the camper and work on fixing a small leak on one of the seams. The stitching came apart and Im going to hand sew it and then seal it with bees wax. I cant do it with it wet though! All I ask is for 3 or 4 days straight of no rain and Ill be happy. Call mother nature for me someone!

Trip planning!

So Wayne and I want to take a road trip sometime in June/July. Weve talked about going to one of two places. Alabama and Michigan. Alabama would be great. We could see Phillip and Renay and we always have a BLAST with them. Plus it would give us another chance athandcuffing them and dragging them home with us LOL! Really we want them to move here so bad its not even funny! We just saw them in November but it seems like it was so long ago and that sucks. The only problem is its a longer drive and we know we cant make the drive straight so then u have to add in 2 extra days for stopping once on the way down and once on the way back. Thats not going to be easy with Wayne starting the post office so I dont know how we can do it. Ive been racking my brain trying to figure it out. On the other hand Michigan would be nice also and heres why. Wayne hasnt been back to his hometown in over 17 years. The last time he went home was a few months before we met. Weve planned several trips up there but they always fall apart basically because his family cant stand me. We arent going to go into that though because really its a sad situation and it would be nice if someday we could be civil again but honestly I dont see that happening. Believe it or not Waynes brother Eugene and I used to talk a lot and his Mom and I did also. I dont see it ever going back to that but it would be nice if we could atleast be civil. So if we did end up going to Michigan we wouldnt stay in his hometown and we wouldnt tell anyone we r coming and most likely wouldnt see anyone in his family which again is a sad thing to have to do. It would really be nice though for Wayne to get to see how much its changed up there and for the kids and I to see where he grew up. Its close enough that we could make the drive straight so that saves time and makes it an easy trip. So yeah I dont know! We have to think about it!
