Well he passed!

I cant believe it. He actually PASSED his driving test! WOOHOO! So he starts training on Tuesday (post office is closed Monday) YEAH! See what a couple of “pass of I kill u” threats will do? LMAO!

Waiting on driving test results, Idol & Dancing with the stars

Well he thinks it went well and that he passed. I guess we’ll see! He should know sometime either today or tomorrow for sure. Of course in the 10 mins we were gone to the library yesterday the idiot ran 3 yellow lights which is what he failed the test for last time! I wanted to kill him! All I know is he best have passed this time!
So Idol. I think David A is going to take it but I wont buy an album of his! I just dont see the performer in him at all like I do in David C plus his voice really kind of annoys me. Like fingernails on a chalk board type thing. Of course I had to keep messin with Pat last nite. She was trying to vote for David A and I was voting for David C so I kept calling her from my cell while Josh voted from the house phone. When she would try to dial I would be on her line and wouldnt hang up LMAO! She was PISSED! See things like that only work when ur neighbors and live in the woods. In the city with real phone service it never wouldve held the line like that. Ahh the plus sides to being a hick LMAO!
I was really sad to see Cristian go so early. I knew Kristi would win and rightfully so but I think Cristian should have been second and not Jason. Dont get me wrong they r both hotter than hell LOL but Cristian seems like an all around nice guy. Ill miss seeing his chest er I mean moves on the dance floor!
So whats next? So You Think You Can Dance starts tomorrow nite. That will take up a little time. The new Ghost Hunters starts next week. Im about a month behind in Days. I guess Ill have plenty to watch on those sleepless nites!

Well it finally happened

The washer finally shit the bed! I knew I should have bought one two weeks ago! No Im stuck waiting till next week to get a new one! Thank God I can go to Moms and do laundry there until then!

Tomorrow is Waynes driving test for the post office. If he fails this one thats the end. Hes SOL totally. So cross everything that he freakin passes! If he does pass he starts training on the 27th and if he doesnt I file for divorce! Plain and simple!
So I checked the rebate status on www.irs.govlast nite. Those Fuckers screwed us out of $500! Instead of the $2100 we should be getting we r getting $1600. What a bunch of shit. So there goes any chance of a trip to Alabama or Michigan. WTF! Im really pissed. We r still gonna go somewhere though. Either to Pennsylvania for a week or to New Hampshire for a few days and then to Amy in Maine for a few days. Its just bullshit that the people who need the money the most they take it away from. I know several other people who got the shaft also. Unreal!
And speaking of money I would suggest no one EVER work for H&R Block in Plainfield CT! And nope I dont give two shits if they see/read this or not to be quite honest. They already know how I feel about them so it shouldnt come as any surprise. Ive already written letters to H&R Blocks Corporate office telling them how they promise people all these huge bonuses and then screw them over. Basically of the 20 of us that worked there only maybe 5 r actually getting a bonus. How fair is that? I literally RAN the Foxwoods office for two months and am getting nothing yet the bitch who made all the mistakes that I had to fix is getting a nice fat check. Why? Because shes part of their cult er I mean religion. The piece of shit owner didnt even call or come in on my days because she knew things were under control and she didnt have to. Do I get anything for it though? Nope. I hope next year they have NO customers! That would teach them to be cheap bastards!
Speaking of being cheap we have a chance to buy a van pretty cheap. Its older (1999 Dodge Grand Caravan) but its in really good shape and would tow the camper a whole lot easier than the Malibu will. Waynes seen it and he says its nice so Im going to go look at it this week. The guy is a friend of Waynes so he says we can pay half and then pay the other half over a few weeks. That would be good since we still have the Tracker to fix! We’ll see how it looks when I get to look at it.

Ive created a monster!

First it was haircuts. Then hair dye. Now its flat ironing hair straight! Ive turned Auntie Pat into a monster! Pat had no idea how people get the nice straight hair she always sees on TV. So yesterday I took my flat iron in her house and I straightened her hair. It looks really good but now she wants me to do it everyday LOL! Thank God its short now and not down to her ass like it used to be or Id be doing it for hours! Whats next? Push up bras and thongs? LMAO!

Guess what its doing outside right now?!?!

Yep. Its raining! WTH is up with this weather? I swear weve had so much rain the past couple months the ground is just totally saturated. Every time it starts to dry the rain comes back. Its getting old fast. I need to open up the camper and work on fixing a small leak on one of the seams. The stitching came apart and Im going to hand sew it and then seal it with bees wax. I cant do it with it wet though! All I ask is for 3 or 4 days straight of no rain and Ill be happy. Call mother nature for me someone!

Trip planning!

So Wayne and I want to take a road trip sometime in June/July. Weve talked about going to one of two places. Alabama and Michigan. Alabama would be great. We could see Phillip and Renay and we always have a BLAST with them. Plus it would give us another chance athandcuffing them and dragging them home with us LOL! Really we want them to move here so bad its not even funny! We just saw them in November but it seems like it was so long ago and that sucks. The only problem is its a longer drive and we know we cant make the drive straight so then u have to add in 2 extra days for stopping once on the way down and once on the way back. Thats not going to be easy with Wayne starting the post office so I dont know how we can do it. Ive been racking my brain trying to figure it out. On the other hand Michigan would be nice also and heres why. Wayne hasnt been back to his hometown in over 17 years. The last time he went home was a few months before we met. Weve planned several trips up there but they always fall apart basically because his family cant stand me. We arent going to go into that though because really its a sad situation and it would be nice if someday we could be civil again but honestly I dont see that happening. Believe it or not Waynes brother Eugene and I used to talk a lot and his Mom and I did also. I dont see it ever going back to that but it would be nice if we could atleast be civil. So if we did end up going to Michigan we wouldnt stay in his hometown and we wouldnt tell anyone we r coming and most likely wouldnt see anyone in his family which again is a sad thing to have to do. It would really be nice though for Wayne to get to see how much its changed up there and for the kids and I to see where he grew up. Its close enough that we could make the drive straight so that saves time and makes it an easy trip. So yeah I dont know! We have to think about it!

Things Im sick of:

1. Stupid people. This includes people who pretend to be stupid when really they arent.
   
2. Bad pet shops. Not just ones that dont give a shit about their customers but especially the ones who dont give a shit about the animals they sell.
   
3. Weather men. Cant they just get it right 50% of the time? Thats all I ask. I dont expect them to be right 100% of the time but half would be nice!
   
4. People who say one thing and then do something thats the total opposite. This really bugs me big time.
   
5. Dogs that bark. Yep Ill admit it. They drive me nuts! Doesnt mean I dont love em but man a good case of laryngitis would be nice right about now!
   
6. People who screw over the vet. Remember back in the day when everyone billed and people actually PAID their bills? The fact that so many people billed things at the vet and never paid the bill really effects those of us who DO pay! Pay ur bills damnit u scumb!

The case of the missing remote…SOLVED!

So 3 days ago Josh put the remote on the arm of the love seat and walked away. A few mins later it was gone. We looked in all the usual places: Under the couch, under the love seat, behind the TV, in the school room, in the kitchen….nothing. No sign of it. So we went to bed. Next day we looked again. Still nothing. Weve tore this house apart. Every single room and no sign of the remote. Finally tonite I said thats it. It has to be inside the love seat. So since we r getting a new one anyway as soon as Ashley Furniture gets their finger out of their asses and gets my new loving roomset here (its on back order!) I said ok lets cut the bottom cloth flap off the love seat. It must be in there. Wayne was like no. We aint doing that. After about 20 mins of fighting about it he said I was wrong and went ahead and chopped it off. What did we find? The remote! See? Hasnt he figured out by now just to shut up and listen to me? *sigh* Men!

Ok so that wasnt fun!

So I finally got sick of mygreen eyebrow ring and decided to switch it out to a black one. I was like wicked scared to do it though because last time when I had the piercer do it man alive it hurt like hell! So I got brave and took the old one out and holy cow the new one went right in no problem! I was amazed. Then I decided to switch my nose ring out for a black one to match the eyebrow. Now keep in mind this is the 3rd time Ive done the nose ring myself and the other 2 times was simple no problem right in. No I get the old one out and uh oh. The new one wont go in! Now what? So I keep trying. Wayne tries. Nope. It aint going. Call the piercer and hes not there so now Im stuck. I have to either get it in or hope it doesnt close up before noon tomorrow when he gets there. 15 tries later I finally got it in but man it wasnt fun! Needless to say I aint changing it again anytime soon!

A mix of whateverness…

Well we went to the gym with Mom. It was something else! She wont get on a treadmill not even with it stopped. The wheels on the bike go around 5 times and she has to stop. All of the weight machines pinch or hurt some part of her body. She cant do a crunch. After we were done when we asked when shes joining she had every excuse in the book. She wants to buy a pool which by the way Im splitting with her. She wants to pay bills. She needs to save money for a trip the end of June that her company pays EVERYTHING for. She has to pay her “$400″ car payment which is really only $250. Lets all keep in mind her monthly bills including rent r less than $600 a month but she makes about $2700 a month and she cant even complain about gas money because work pays that. So then I said she can still come with us and just pay $5 each time and if she was still coming with us on Thursday she gives me the excuse that shes going to lunch with some chicks she works with. So I said we could go after lunch and all of a sudden she changes the story to she has to go all the way to Guilford for work and wont get home till like 2pm and “Maybe Ill meet u at the gym. We’ll have to see.” blah blah blah. Um yeah so much for that! I guess Ill have to nag nag nag her about the gym and smoking for the rest of my life!
Heres something weird and interesting. Last nite Robyn and I were laying on the couch watching TV when she wanted a drink. So I went and filled her a glass of water and left it on the kitchen table for her. She went in a few times and drank with no problem. Then all of a sudden she goes in the get another drink and she makes it around the corner into the kitchen and starts SCREAMING bloody murder. I was like WTF!?!? Next thing I know shes bolting back into the living room screaming “A face! A face!” I thought she was saying “place” so I said “What place?” and she starts screaming at me “A FACE! A PERSON!” like a lunatic. That was weird! Needless to say I didnt go back in the kitchen last nite and neither did she!
Ok lets talk now a little about Alvin and the Chipmunks. I hate the movie. Its not so much that I hate the movie its more that I hate watching it 15 times a day! Renting it off Netflix was the biggest mistake ever made. Now I have to go buy the damn thing before I can return it because Robyn is totally addicted!
Well Wayne has cabin fever. First he wanted to go to Maine this weekend. Then he wanted to go to NYC. Then Lancaster PA. Now hes decided he wants to go to Salem MA to the witch museums and dungeons on Saturday. Should be interesting! Only problem is it might be rainy but only like a 40% chance so hopefully not!
Speaking of Wayne he has his driving test for the PO Saturday at 7:30am! I swear on my life if he fails this one Im kicking him out of the house forever. So then they tell him that because of gas prices to deliver mail and such that they r dropping the starting pay rate by $5 an hour for ur first 3 months. That sucks! BUT about 2 hours later they called back and said that because hes already been hired already like 2 months ago and been through all the medical and crap that hes grandfathered in and wont be cut the $5 WOOHOO! Thats good news! So if all goes as planned and he passes this driving test his training starts May 27th!

OMG I want to smack my Mom!

First let me give her a teenie bit of credit for something good then we’ll get to the bad. Yesterday she decides she wants to join the gym. Um yeah I didnt see that one coming! First she wanted to join Curves but no. They suck suck suck big time so I talked her out of it. Then she said she will join the one Lettie already goesto that Im joining this week. The plan was to go on Thursday but after enough nagging on my part I convinced her to go with us tonite for a trial and see what she thinks. It should prove interesting to say the least!
Now onto the bad part that I want to smack her for! I just found out today that her medical insurance company makes her pay them $10 a week because she smokes. OMG! $520 a year is a lot of money just for the right to KILL URSELF! Am I wrong? Nope. Weve been trying to get her to quit for as long as I can remember and shes done it a few times but always made some excuse to start back up again. I get that its hard but when cigarettes cost $6 a pack and shes smoking a pack a day (thats on the low low side) and u combine that with the money to the insurance company thats over $2500 a year! And for what? To get cancer and drop dead after suffering for God knows how long. WTF is wrong with her? She will never learn! How the hell many more people in this family need to be on oxygen or die of cancer for these people to wake the hell up and smell the fear of chemotherapy?!?!

Spring cleaning SUCKS!

But I guess it has to be done. Its a little depressing though going through all the kids old clothes and sending them off to the Salvation Army. The highlight of that was yesterday I found one of Angelinas dresses that Lettie bought her when she was Robyns age and it was her favorite. Its yellow with blue and white flowers. Now it fits Robyn perfectly! The downlight (is that a word?) was finding 4 pairs of jeans that no longer fit my fat ass. That kinda sucked. I was tempted to keep them so that when I drop some of this extra baggage I can wear them but nah. Ill buy new ones. Let some skiney chick have them. Bitch! LMAO! So once I finish going through all the clothes (gonna get out Angelinas old stuff I kept and see what fits Robyn) then its on to the kids bedrooms. They arent real thrilled with it but we r going to go through all their toys and give away the ones they dont use. That should be a real battle when u have a 2 year old who wants E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G she sees. Should prove interesting how many times in a row I can say “No u cant have that!” without going out of my mind! So whats after the clothes and bedrooms? Well I havent decided yet. The kitchen could use a good rip apart and scrub down but Im not real excited about doing that. Itll get done eventually though. And on that note Im off to get my butt movin. Wish me luck! If no one hears from me after a few days call me. Maybe Ill hear the phone ringing and be able to track my way out of the never ending piles of clothes and toys with the ringing of the phone as my guide!

I hate household appliances, furniture & fixtures!

Which would a toilet be? A fixture right? Ok sure. Lets go with that! Seriously though what a pile of crap. Literally! My toilet is older than I am. Not even kidding there. My Grandfather put that damn thing in this house when I was first born making it 33 years old. Sure I should be grateful its lasted this long. And really its had a good life but its time to move on. I so cant wait to get this thing out of my house this week and a new one put in! We shouldve done it 12 years ago when we moved in but nope. And why didnt we do it when we totally gutted and remodeled the bathroom 7 years ago? New shower, tub, sink, walls, floor. Everything but we left that damn toilet. Some people plant flowers in their old toilets and put them out on their lawn. Nope. Not gonna happen. Once its gone I dont ever want to see it again and I sure as hell dont want to stick my hands in it to plant flowers! Now lets talk about washing machines. Mines gotta go. Not only is it so damn loud when its on spin it sounds like a damn elephant is busting through the wall but its also stuck and when it goes to spin u have to turn the tub and help it along. What a pain! Like I have all day to wait for the spin cycle? Really I dont! And its like the old saying “A watched pot doesnt boil” its true! It takes like twice as long for a washer ur watching to go into spin than it takes when u walk away for just 2 mins to let the dogs out and come back to a washer sounding like its about to explode while its “walking” across the floor. So yep a new one of those is coming this week too! Next is a new living room couch and either chairs or love seat I cant decide which I want AND Im ripping the carpet up in the huge ass hall upstairs and putting down wood like we did in the living room and then Im painting the whole house. Im just so done with everything can u tell? *sigh* Ok I feel better now!

Summers here! That means I gotta start selling again!

I dont know if its good or bad. I mean I like craft shows and all and everyone loves my necklaces even with bitches stealing MY idea and making them but the gas money is gonna be a killer this year! Plus my Avon customers r all having a slow time so Im really not sure how thats gonna go. Im seriously thinking about starting to sell Mary Kay or Arbonne but I have no experience with either. Sure everyone says they r great and here most people think they r rich so it would probably sell better than Avon but it does cost a lot more. Really not many people in CT want to tell their friends they wear Avon makeup because they r so damn snotty they want to say “OH I wear Mary Kay or Arbonne” just to sound rich ya know? I just cant decide. I still have Tastefully Simple Im doing too and need to order catalogs for that. I need help! What should I do? Stick with just Avon? Switch to Mary Kay? Switch to Arbonne? Dont do any? HELPPPPPP!

So I honestly think Lettie is trying to kill me

The sad thing is shes takin Angelina and Tatum down with me! WTH!?!? So yesterday Tatum had a 1/2 day and Jay had the day off and Stryder has everyday off LOL so we decided to ditch half the kids at home with Wayne and go out letterboxing. Basically people hide little books with a notebook and a handmade stamp and an ink pad in it in various places the they post clues on where to find them online. Then idiots like us go out looking for them and stamp them in a book like a log book and we stamp our stamp that we made into their book and leave it in the woods for the next idiots to find. Its really a lot of fun. Anyway we left Wayne at home with Jay, Stryder, Robyn and Josh and Lettie and I took Tatum and Angelina with us. The first one was in the cemetery in Griswold where we used to bike ride so that one was fun. The second one was in Hopefully Park where there r supposed to be 4 boxes. We couldnt find a single one! That sucked but was a really nice walk and the loud mouthes aka Tay and Angelina lol had fun! So then we figured out that on my Blackberry we could pull up the website and list and clues so we could go find some in Voluntown. Now thats a cool feature hey. If this phone is good for nothing else atleast its good for finding letterboxes! So we get gas ($3.75/gal BTW WTF!) and head to find these 4 boxes in the woods. Um yeah thats where it went down the shitter! We find the trail which we werent even sure was the trail at first but doing some research this morning definitely was the trail and we head out. First couple feet in its flooded so we ruined 4 pairs of shoes lol but we kept going. Then came the cliff we had to go up. Now keep in mind not only am I 500 pounds overweight (give or take a few hundred and YES Lettie Im going to the gym Thursday I PROMISE DAMNIT so shut the hell up!) and Ive lost track of how many knee surgeries Ive had so climbing isnt my thing but I said Im gonna go for it anyway. Well we did good. We got to the top of this cliff thing and all was fine until a damn stick under my foot rolled and I twisted my ankle. So I worked that out and we kept going but the cliff got higher and the water was below it and Angelina being my child has the grace of a walnut and kept slipping so we said ok not for kids and turned back. One swollen ankle and one ruined pair of jeans later from having to sit down and slide down the cliff and we were back at the car. Anyway now that I know it was the right trail we definitely have to try again just not after 4 days of flooding rain and not with any kids. So feeling a little defeated we headed back to town to try finding some cell service to look up some more when we realized my phone also stores pages in its cache so we still could read them without service! Another very cool feature! New clue in hand we headed off to Pachaug Forrest a place we know very well and went down the Rhododendron trail to find 2 more stamps. Now by this time its getting late so we headed back towards home. Buttonwoods Ice Cream is supposed to have one in their wall but it was missing and then right across the street from my house in the woods where the fishermen park their boats is another one. Of course being next to a cow farm we never thought hey theres gonna be a dead cow body sitting there but sure enough it was. Its just bones now but still its gross! So that was yesterdays letterboxing experience. All in all it was a fun Cousins day out!

Baby gates, Nuks, potty training, Idol, food & the gym

Why is it that a good baby gate costs so much money? I mean seriously. The one at the bottom of my stairs weve had since Angelina was a baby and all in all its held up well over the years BUT the damn thing cost like a hundred bux at the time! One like this is easily $150 now and its insane! This one has some issues though so we r gonna have to deal with it soon but it does still work and Robyn has zero desire to try opening the thing anyway. The one at the top of the stairs was just like it but broke last year. Again another $150 to get a new one! Ive owned beds worth less that that in my lifetime! See? This is how they get parents! They jack up the prices on things we really need!
So Robyn hasnt had her nukie in I would say atleast a week. Not even to go to bed at nite. Why u might ask? Well I “lost” the one she likes best and the one we have she hates. Some people say hiding a nukie is mean. I say when the dentist says take it away its time to take it away. See the nukie people r after our money too. They own stock in braces and tooth repair! ive got it all figured out! Anyway she seems to be ok with it most of the time. Still uses the one she hates in the car once in awhile but really shes pretty much over it.
As for potty training thats another thing. Robyn hates having her pullups on BUT she refuses to use the potty. So basically shes in the buff all day and when she has to do her dirty work she grabs a pullup and throws it on. Pees. Takes it off immediately. Throws it in the garbage. The other day I really thought we were going to have a break through though! She kept sitting on the potty and in her oh so cute way saying “potty train?” but nope it just didnt happen. Granted she just turned 2 but still I want her to do it already!
FINALLY some Idol justice hey! I cant believe it took this long for Brooke to go home! I mean I like the girl and all and I think in a studio where she can read her lyrics while she sings them and start over 500 times per song for all her screw ups I think she would be great! But the next American Idol? Um no. Sorry but no. I wouldnt go see her live for fear she might F*up and kill herself on stage! Seriously its time to move on!
Ok I need dinner ideas big time. Wayne and I r just oh so bored with cooking that we fight over who has to do it every nite LOL! We try to mix it up. Like last week I made pork ribs and spaghetti and it was a really nice change. Then we grilled out a couple times and that was actually nice too even though I hate Summer. Really though for two fat people u wouldnt think we would get so bored with eating! I really think we need to convince Phillip and Renay to move in with us. Atleast then we could mix up my italian cooking with her southern cooking and we would never be bored again!
Oh and about being fat. YES Lettie in case ur reading this I PROMISE Im coming to join the damn gym next week u pain in the ass! God why did we ever leave Curves? Atleast there I could pretend I was working out and no one knew the truth LMAO! Seriously though Curves. What a waste! We went for what like 6 months? Lost maybe 2 pounds each? Never even broke a sweat! Sorry but that place is a joke and on that note Im off to have a donut LMAO!
